 		The Charles A. Becker Foundation, created in 1996, is to help fulfill the dreams of kids. Our purpose states, "It is to continue the benevolent spirit of Charles A. Becker, a gentleman who cared for children, though he had none of his own." His wish for the Foundation is that it benefits young people who try to "get ahead".

The Foundation awards financial grants and matching grants to existing and proposed direct benefit programs based on their merit and program content.
